Come and spend a full day with me as we create this multi layer fun art journal page.
We will spend the morning creating our multi page layered backgrounds, stamping stencilling and pen work. In the afternoon we will be stamping and colouring with markers and coloured pencils to create our focal images.
Finally we will be assembling using glue and/or foam pads and of course splattering (completely optional!!) to create a fun dimensional page.
You will have the option to create one of either of the pages shown ( choosing which focal image for the centre you would like to use, you can also alter the colours, giving you the option to have a completely unique finished page.
Suitable for beginners and experienced artists and step by step instructions will be given.

Student Kit List

Journal or Cardstock to work on (I have used the large Dylusions journal which is approximately A4 in size) (you will need 2 consecutive pages in your journal for this project)
Selection of paint brushes (include a 3/4 to 1 inch flat brush)
Sponges for stencilling
Inking sponge
Black waterproof stamp pad (I use Ranger Archival)
Acrylic stamp block or stamp platform
4 sheets A4 card stock (we will be stamping, painting and colouring on this)
Scissors
Mathematical compass (I use this for making my large circles in the background)
3D foam Pads (optional but I like to use these to create depth)
White Glue
White gel or paint pen (thin nib)

Coloured pencils and pens to colour focal images (I will be using a mix of my Prismacolor Premier pencils and basic marker pens ie tombow, crayola, Karin etc to colour my images but use what you have and what you are comfortable with) (Posca pens are NOT suitable for this technique)

Cloth or paper towels
Water pot
Paint palette
Heat tool
