It’s not very often that I create a journal spread with ‘white space’ , but I just love the composition that this one occupies on the page.
Come and spend the day with me as we create this gorgeous art journal page.
We will start with a simple background technique using paints, pencil, stamps and stencils before stamping and colouring our striking focal image, before final assembling our finished page.
I have used greys and red tones for my page but this could be created in any colours you choose.
Suitable for beginners and experienced artists and step by step instructions will be given.

Student Kit List
Journal or paper to work on (I will be working in the large dylusions journal which is approximately A4 in size but this page can be scaled up or down so use what you have)
5 sheets white A4 card stock (we will be stamping and colouring on this)
Black waterproof ink pad
Acrylic stamp block or stamping platform
Inking sponge
Sponge or brush for stencilling
Selection of paint brushes (include a flat brush) (also include a brush to use for Matt medium)
Scissors
Pencil
Matt medium (you could water down your white glue if you do not have this)
White glue
3D foam Pads (optional but I like to add dimension to my pages)
White gel or paint pen (thin nib)
Black gel or paint pen (thin nib)
Gold gel or paint pen (thin nib)
Coloured marker pens for adding additional colour (tombow, crayola, Karin etc) (please Note Posca pens are NOT Suitable for this)
Water pot
Heat tool
Cloth or paper towel
Paint palette
